Anti fur clothingIf you are a fan of animal fur clothing, I hope this video will change your mind. You are indirectly torturing animals in fur farms by supporting animal fur clothing. People working in fur farms are so inconsiderate that they step on the head of animals, torture them, skin them alive and make them in so much pain. Those animals are so helpless that they are beaten up to half dead, and then being skinned.

Burmese people are still trapped by their useless government. The Burmese government reported only 10 people died, but who knows what’s really happening in the country? It doesn’t make sense to have shot down or torture people who held a peaceful protest, even a Japanese news reporter was shot down.

You can watch the video at a better quality and with sound (although it’s still somewhat silent) at their official website too. The video shows statistics of the world population if the world consist of only 100 peoples.

It says at the end of the video, “if you have a bed, a fridge, a cupboard and a roof above you — you are richer than 75% of the entire world population. While I say, you are probably one of them for being able to read this online. Appreciate what you have.

Today is the Blog Action Day. Every blogger who have participated in this will be blogging on a single topic today, the environment. Most of us have probably heard a lot about the environment. Everyone knows that the Earth is getting warmer. Everyone knows that this will result in raising sea levels. Everyone knows that this is bad and something should be done. But, not everyone is doing their part. There are two reasons behind this. The first one is they don’t give a damn about it. They might have already passed away when things happen. And the second reason is they don’t know what to do in order to help.

Do you want this?

Free Burma

Things are getting worse now in Burma. Hundreds of monks are being massacred and tortured. International journalists are being expelled, cutting off global media coverage of their cruelty. While doing things like dedicating a blog post would probably not change the mind of Burma’s rulers, it might raise awareness among everyone else.

If you are a blogger, you can do your part by writing a “Free Burma!” post and be one of the participant in this effort. For non-bloggers, you can do your part by spreading the words in any other form, like by using social networking websites or just word by mouth to people around you.

Besides, you can also sign the petition. There are currently around 520,000 people around the globe that have signed it. For more news and updates on the situation, head over to Google News, Irrawaddy or Mizzima.
