In 1917, Walter Butler who was a soldier in the First World War sent a postcard to his fiancee intended to tell her he is alright. The postcard only arrive, however, 90 years later and received by their 86 years old daughter, Joyce Hulbert. Late is better than never, the postcard might be meaningful now to Joyce. If the postcard was sent on time in the 1917, I doubt if the postcard will still be in good condition.
