Remember Scott MacDonald (his picture below)? He is the one who sell his name to the highest bidder of his name auction. I remember I’ve posted about him here back in January, but the entry seems to be missing. I went to Scott/Freebeestore’s blog just now to check what’s his final name, and it happens to be Mr. Freebeestore - the bid won by Freebeestore.com at $37,000.01.

He will no longer be Scott MacDonald, but Mr. Freebeestore until 2008’s Groundhog Day. Although it’s odd to see someone selling their own name, some might even say these people doesn’t appreciate their name - Mr. Freebeestore (for now) isn’t that bad after all as 10% of his profit, which is around $3700 will be donated to charity. Also, there might just be one Mr. Freebeestore in the whole wide world - it should be a unique name then.
Update: Uh, I found the post.

It could have been a worse name. He sounds like something out of a kids film
