RK House – No Pork At All

RK House

A conversation on two Chinese guy at a so-called Coffee Shop and an Indian waiter. The two Chinese guy kept asking for pork for their food, although has been told that RK House doesn’t serve pork – as known as “No pork at all”. Frankly speaking, this conversation is most probably fake, but who cares as long as it’s funny? You may found that the type of English used is quite weird, this is how most people in Singapore and Malaysia speak English. Video (actually audio + subtitles) after the jump.

Update (8/2/07): YouTube has taken down the video. Fortunately, I have a copy of it on my hard disk, so it’s now made available again by hosting the video myself. Enjoy.

  2. Hi Vincent,

Tried downloading from You Tube some Music Videos using Get Video but although it saved it on my computer, FLV player couldn’t open it. Please assist!

    Thanks.

    Gary

  3. Heh only singaporeans will think of something like that, I don’t think you do a joke like this in malaysia you can come out alive.. lol

  4. thanx 4 sharing, the 1st time i listened to this funny conversation is from a radio broadcast, and it was hillarious. I make myself stupid by laughing alone in a bus.

  5. as a malaysian you should know better than to persistently show such a video that disrespect another religion, which also happens to be the official religion of your country

  6. It’s a very cruel jibe. The only thing that’s funny is the prata seller’s melodramatic reaction. But “funny” reactions do not justify nasty behaviour. This so-called ‘joke’ is in extremely poor taste. The ‘script’ itself is dull, monotonous and frankly, stupid. My sympathies go out to the seller. What a low-level prank to play on the innocent. It reflects poorly on the character of the antagoniser. I wonder if it’s real or
staged. If it’s ‘real’ then it’s a case of bullying and harassment that should not be tolerated in ‘real
life’. ‘Real’ or ‘fake’ such behaviour should not be encouraged.

  7. :o uch: :o uch: :o uch: i cant listen to it after i put it in my mp3…???y???..all my songs are in vlc not flv so how do i change it to rkhouse.vlc??

  8. I’m not sure how you could convert an flv to vlc. But you can convert from flv to mp3 easily using Zamzar – most mp3 players will be able to play .mp3 format. Good luck.

  9. ohh see wrong is the icon vlc but it is mp3..but i cant change it to mp3..even when i use the zamzar the internet just got jammed

  10. So is it converted yet? If no, here’s another converter – Vixy. I’ve not used it before, just found it via Google. Try it and tell us if you’ve succeeded converting, good luck! ;)

  11. hai i try to download this movie but i’ve only got a half of it… can’t u tell me why? thanks a lot! :)

  12. Hi Vincent,

This is very very funny. My friend showed me this video.

Do you know another videos like this?

  13. That is one of the funniest things I have ever heard, i have lived in Asia for the total of 15yrs mostly in Singapore, that was either in Sing or Malyasia … I never thought the Singaporeans were that funny before that, now I have seen the light.. more of that practical joking should be encourage as the Singaporeans tend to take themselves a little too serious …..

  14. Too damn funny! I got this in a forward months ago, and just came around again….still as funny as the first time I heard it! Nice one!

  15. @Gary Wee :If you download it with Video Get and you want to play it using FLV player, change the setting on the VideoGet. But Video Get default is MPEG1 format.]

@Ivan: Just choose where you want it to be save. Select destop then you will be able to see it at the destop.

  16. SERIOUSLY……the pork joke is 100% acceptable. The freedom of speech that allows the antagonizers to do that is the same freedom of speech that allows the muslims to practice their religion! It's a similar thing with the islam cartoon row by the danish newspaper. c'mon, the 1st amendment rights are for everyone
