By using a device called Brainport, blind people can now see using their tongue instead of their eyes. But of course, the image seen will not be clear at all – but it’s better than seeing totally nothing. As I can see, Brainport is actually a quite huge device – I guess it will be smaller in future. And also, don’t get me wrong by reading the title above, “Blind can see using tongue” – the Brainport can actually used by anyone, not only the blind one. Watch the video by CBS news after the jump.
