As you have noticed, I do accept donations on this blog – to pay the hosting bills charged by DreamHost. So far, there aren’t any donations yet, and I have come out with a new idea that might benefit both of us. Here is the new concept, every month, the top three donors who donate the most will have his link placed on this blog’s sidebar, in which your link will appear on 99% of the pages on this blog.
For example, on January – Apple donated $5, Banana donated $3, Catty donated $2 and Ben donated $1. Apple, Banana and Catty’s link will be placed on the sidebar, while Ben’s link will not. On February, the count will be reset and the top 3 donors of February will have their link placed. Even if the top donor of February is just $1, link will be placed. If there is no donor on February, those links on January will still remain. (Links will appear below the piggy bank as “Top Donors”)
How to donate: There are two methods of donating, by using credit card or PayPal. If you do not have any of these, I thank you for your kindness, it’s alright. To donate, click on the piggy bank on the sidebar of this blog, or you can go to http://www.dreamhost.com/donate.cgi?id=6160 directly. On that page, enter the amount you would like to donate (At least $1 if you want to place your link at the sidebar, as DreamHost will take $0.30+5%) and click on the Donate! button. You will then lead to PayPal’s donation page, where you can choose to pay using PayPal or credit card.
After you have donated, do contact me if you want to have your link on my sidebar – indicating how much you have donated and your details such as name and email address.
Disclaimer: Because you’re donating directly through DreamHost, rest assured that your donation will only be used to pay for this site’s hosting fees. The site owner won’t be able to run off and spend your donation on DVDs, fine steak dinners, or anything else completely unrelated to their web hosting bill!
Adult and gambling sites related links will NOT be accepted – only family friendly sites will be accepted.
