Digg has a new design

{ December 19, 2006 }

Digg Digg, one of the most visited website on the internet has its website redesigned today. I was shocked when I saw the new design. I thought I entered a fake Digg, but I’m not. It looks worse than before, and I hate the green thingy there. Also, the design before looks more professional than the new design. I’m not sure what you think about it, but I still prefer the old design. It’s easier to navigate, but well, maybe I’m just too used to it.

Before this, they have a left sidebar to navigate around categories, and you can navigate to all child categories without having your browser refresh, but the new one design has taken it off. The categories now are placed at the header, and there will only be the main categories. You have to click on the main categories to see its child categories.

Do you prefer the old or new Digg website design? Although I don’t like the new design at all, but there’s still some cool new features came along with it. You can check what’s new on their official blog.

I have made a poll on this, please vote if you prefer the old or new design.
