This is probably the first WordPress meetup in Malaysia. If you don’t know what WordPress is, it is a powerful blogging platform that is widely used all around the world. This blog is powered by WordPress too.

The purpose of this meetup is to gather Malaysia’s WordPress users for socializing. There will be some freebies too like WordPress t-shirts and stickers. If you aren’t a WordPress users, they aren’t anything to you. Read the following details to learn more about the meetup:

Place: Starbucks, Time Square – Kuala Lumpur
Date & Time: Saturday, December 16, 2006 – 2:30 p.m
Organizer: Zeo (Will be wearing WordPress t-shirt on meetup day)
Freebies: WordPress t-shirts and stickers

If you are not a WordPress user, you might want to get yourself a copy at wordpress.org, or if you don’t have any place to host you – there will always be free wordpress host out there. Search for it on Google, or you can also create one at wordpress.com, but it’s not recommended by me as its features are too limited. Zeo said that this meetup is open to all bloggers who is using WordPress, but I’d say that it’s open too everyone.

Starbucks aren’t owned by them, and they have no right to shoo you if you come along. Just that you might not be given those freebies. Wondering if they will bring a laptop to check if you really have a WordPress blog :p. I’m not sure if I will be coming though. Transportation and money is a problem to me . Anyone willing to sponsor me?
