Orange Balls in Japan

{ November 7, 2006 }

orangeballs.jpg In banks, post office, and convenience stores in Japan, there will be some orange balls at their counters. What are they for? They are used to be thrown on bad guys or robber according to the Japanese staff. It won’t harm , but just smelly. What if the robber is armed with gun? I don’t think you will dare to hit him with orange balls that time. However, the brilliant side of this invention is that Japanese police dogs are trained to detect the smell. This will track down the criminal that have the special odour.
