Mental Health Center in Indonesia

On the television, the Mental Health Center looks very clean and nice with many doctors. Patients are lock up in a super white room. But what is happening in Indonesia is totally different. Patients in Indonesia’s Mental Health Center are treated as animal, or maybe even worse than that. They are chained like a prisoner — and some of them are even naked. I don’t think the staff even bother to cure them, but just to lock them up. No wonder, the Indonesia’s Mental Health Center are over populated. These pictures are taken by John Stanmeyer few years ago if I’m not mistaken. Do you think the condition there is still the same now?
