Can you really search for driver license online?

Yes – you can perform a search for driver license now at Driver License Search. On the website, it says that it has only United State’s driver license’s database, but it is not true at all. I tried to search for Malaysian’s driver license, and it works too, therefore – I assume that it is actually international. To know if you country is supported, just try it yourself.

Basically, it will show an image of your license, and all your details – including your photo will be shown. I do not agree that this website is useful, as it might be misused to check one’s details and do something bad with it. Luckily, there is an option to delete one’s driver license from its database . I advise everyone with a driver license to do so – to avoid anyone from stealing your private information. By the way, I’m wondering how the website collect those data from? Do you think the Government is so stupid to hand those important data to be used online?

Note – If you are not a US resident, select “Select a State” at the state column. If you choose a random state from the list, which you are not living in, your might not found your license. Choosing nothing means it will cover all states, including other countries.
