Good news for Malaysians who are intending to sell online. P1 and eBay had work together to setup a free e-Commerce training in Malaysia.
The training will be led by eBay Education Specialists, at outlets under P1’s Wireless@KL.
At the time of posting this, there are only 3 more training sessions left. You would need to be a Wireless@KL user and a eBay.com.my member to register for the free training—if you already have an account on both the websites, login to your Wireless@KL to register.
Malaysia’s premier WiMAX converged telco, P1 and the world’s leading online marketplace, eBay are launching their first joint initiative for the general public on Internet Entrepreneurship and selling to the world. Interested participants will have the advantage of receiving hands-on experience on how to sell to the world utilizing only a laptop and exceptional broadband access, both courtesy of eBay and P1.
eBay Education Specialists will offer FREE and concise training sessions starting 12 November 2008 until 6 December 2008 over eight outlets under P1’s KL Wireless Metropolitan Project, Wireless@KL. The training sessions will be held over four weeks; twice a week on Wednesdays from 5.30p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

- 19 November 2008 : U Café, Sungei Wang
- 22 November 2008 : U Café, Sungei Wang

On the other hand, P1 had made 5 more areas covered with Wimax coverage since the last time I post about it (14 September). There are a total of 14 areas covered now, in 4 states, which are Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Johor and Selangor.

If your area is covered, and you have plan to subscribe to P1’s Wimax, do it before the Pay Nothing promotion ends. During this period, you’ll need to pay nothing to subscribe, and the best of all is you can start getting online just one hour after subscribing.
