In the effort to promote WiMAX further, P1 is having a contest this weekend giving away 5 Canon printers (IP 1300) and 10 4GB PenDrive (I’d prefer a 1-year WiMAX subscription). All you have to do is to download the pdf form from P1 w1max, print and complete it with your personal information and answer 3 simple questions. You were to submit the form to P1’s booth at PC Fair this weekend (1 - 3rd August 2008 @ KLCC).

The 3 questions are:

1. Who is the first in Malaysia to launch WiMAX on the 2.3 GHz spectrum?
2. What is the name of its WiMAX service?
3. In less than 15 words, tell us why you want P1 WiMAX.

If I’m not mistaken, you can test the WiMAX connection out at their booth at PC Fair. If you are living just nearby, the connection quality should be similar and you will have a rough idea how good or bad it is. I am not going the PC Fair, so it would be glad if anyone else who will be going to provide some feedbacks and of course, pictures of both the modems.

P/s: You are allowed to send in as many copies as you like, but the form is colorful and it’ll cost bombs to print every single copy of it. I’ll update after receiving a reply from P1 if a photocopied form is allowed as well.
