My schooling life will be ending this year, after 14 years of schooling since kindergarten. This is definitely something to celebrate as I can already forget about waking up 6 in the morning and teachers who are always finding faults of you.
The guys are planning a trip after the final examination and Langkawi is one of the suggested location. Although it’s not confirmed yet, I think it is good to look at the hotels we might be in. I remember my family searching the yellow pages looking for phone numbers to for hotel booking. Years later, things are much easier now as I can choose hotels from a list, with ratings, prices and photos.
Hotels.com is a good place to start with, but too bad prices are listed in USD instead of my local currency, even when the hotel is in my country. The cheapest Langkawi hotel is at USD$68 per night, which turns to be around RM218. HotelReservations.com makes no difference as prices are displayed in USD too. Prices are slightly lower than Hotels.com. Both the sites display the same information of the hotel, like area of attractions.
Hotelscombined is doing a better job I must say. Hotels are listed with photos, prices in my local currency and an excerpt of hotel description. More hotels are being listed at cheaper price (heck, they pull results from all different hotel websites to get the best price). I’m not sure how much the guys are willing to fork out, but if they are generous, I see Holiday Villa Resort Langkawi a pretty good deal. 4 star rating, situated along the beach (this is the main point after all) at RM265 per night. Should not be too expensive if we were to share the bill.
Boutique Resort Langkawi is also a good choice to consider. At just RM142 per night, about RM100 cheaper than the previous mentioned. Near the beach as well with moderate room decoration. That’s not important after all as long as money is saved. This is how it looks like:

It’s tempting enough to just look at photos of hotels and beaches. Now back to the studying mode after all these imagination. It is as if the exams are over while looking at all these, something like an imagination trip

Instead of have a Langkawi, how about have a Kit Kat? I can pay for that!
As I frustrated over new staff who don’t seem to be prepared for the workforce I had to smile when you said “I can already forget about waking up 6 in the morning and teachers who are always finding faults of you.”
Let me know how it goes in the real world!
