I was not a great fan of Samsung Mobile, although my very first phone was a Samsung (N620) back then when I was 11 or 12. My second phone was a Nokia 3100, and I’m with a Sony Ericsson K800i now.
Today, I was given a chance again to try out Samsung Mobile via BlogMob, something done by Mobile World together with Samsung itself. 16 bloggers was selected to try out one of the two new Samsung phones for a month, namely i450 and i550w, and I’m one of the 16.
The kick-off event was held today at Izzi KL, and I went home three hours later with all these:

- Something that might get me trouble if I lost or damage the phone
- Mobile World magazine (April 2008)
- Surf! magazine (Issue 08)
- Sunshine Micro Torch (something that would light up if you press the button, but it is not the case on this one. Maybe I’m not sure how to use it or something)
- Samsung paper bag
- Samsung i450
- Beyonce B’day CD
- Round playing cards (they must be joking)
- Samsung lanyard
- A hard copy of the presentation slide shown during the event
- Samsung pen
- Something to hang on your phone, not sure what’s that called
The goodies photo above was taken using Samsung’s i450. The quality is quite not satisfying, the above photo have its brightness and contrast edited before being posted. The funny part is, the phone doesn’t come with a microSD card. Whislt trying to transfer the photo using via usb cable, it says the phone have no memory card and I was not able to transfer.
I couldn’t figure it out so I sent the photo over via email, and that sounded so stupid (very). For now I’m having fun with the Voice Signal feature, it’s pretty cool. Will post more about the phone later.
As for photos for the kick-off event, well, I have no camera other than my K800i. Just feel it would be weird to snap pictures using that Sony Ericsson with so many Samsung guys around and other bloggers carrying DSLR. Let’s wait for other bloggers to post their pictures and I will steal some ^.^

T_T vincent i’m super jealous liao.. the hp hanger gimme la.. hahahaha =P
All of them have to be return back to them? How you enter leh? Wah, you so famous, got potential to be better!
Keep up the good work!
LOL Vincent, is it me or did the person who created this layout intend for numbered list items to not exceed 9? ^.^
If I’m not mistaken, one of them will win the phone. Not sure, the editor just contacted me. Will ask about it too maybe at the closing event.
@Mimi: Omg, I didn’t notice that until you pointed out, lol. Blockquote-d, it looks quite fine now. Thanks for pointing out
