Visual comparisons between western and asian culture. It’s a little of generalizing, so you might disagree to some of them. Both have its own good and bad, like the western queues better than the asian, or the asian is more humble etc. Blue for western culture and red for asian culture.

I understand for the most but the first I don’t quite understand. Is it mean by Western like to be straight to the point compare to Asian like for the opinion? I don’t think so. Sometimes I feel that, not just sometimes, most of the time the western like to praise someone
eg: “You’re good enough, but without that one is better(imagine things) but I think you did a great job. Well done.”
Do you think they straight to the point? They not frank enough and like to praise people although it’s not that good. LOL!

HAHAHA! This is good!
I so agree about the contacts, queues, life of an elderly, the boss and perception of each other’s culture.

Yes, this is so true. All Asian Cultures are very indiect. Also they never show their displeasure easily. Something that should change…

that’s becoz asians believe that loosing their cool is IMMATURE, which is a charecteristic they really look down on, where as the westerners don’t see it that way

It is good and personally I also find it very funny. But I think it is just a perception
Let me put it in this way: Western culture is based on “individual” and as shown above, an “individual” is not very successful in close groups. Well, it handles such relationships in a different way. For example, with putting a distance in between or with being direct; which are “practical” in its context. As a result, it will never allow a (more) closer relation. So if you look from this point of view - or put the red boxes on the right and the blue ones on the left - then it will be funny from the “east” point of view. No?
