Edison Chen has finally return to Hong Kong and held a press conference to apologize for the sex scandal incident that has been lasting for several weeks already. The following is the video of him apologizing, in English:
In the video, Edison admitted that he took the photos, but did not intend to distribute it. It was stolen from him illegally by someone else. He also mentioned that he will quit the Hong Kong entertainment industry, while hoping everyone else will take this incident as a lesson.
Good that he did not try to escape from his responsibilities. But I think Gillian Chung is more brave for being the first to apologize in the public—instead of Edison Chen for being the main one that causes the sex scandal incident.
I think this will not be the end. Perhaps some new pictures or videos will be released later…
