Torturing helpless animals has become a form of entertainment in Chinese zoos. Just to name a few:
- Goats are being threw into a pit full of hungry lions in front of the crowd, which also consist of children. It seems that people enjoy watching helpless goats being torn to pieces helplessly.
- It is told that if you hit a tortoise on the head with a coin and make a wish, the wish will come true. In the Chinese zoo, zoo keepers wrap elastic bands around the neck of tortoises to prevent them from retracting their heads—how would the animal feel? You guess it.

Are the goats dead? Because if they are then i perfectly understand. all zoo’s have their feeding times and many of them are public.
As I understand from the article, the goats are alive. But wrapping elastic bands around the neck of tortoises so that tourist can hurl coins on them is unacceptable.
