A 12-year-old (or maybe 11) Philippine girl hanged herself after leaving a letter under her pillow describing her failed hopes and aspirations. She just hoped to have a pair of new shoes, a bicycle and finish schooling — but her family just couldn’t afford. There are no electricity and running water in her house. The night before her suicidal, she asked her father for 100 pesos (about $2.30) for a school project, but he doesn’t have it.

It is too late when his father finally got 1000 pesos cash advance the next day, the girl is no longer alive. [Full News]
