Over pass years, things changed a lot. From what I remember, mobile phones used to have only a single line display and nothing else. No such thing as sms during that time. Same goes as photo frames. We now have digital photo frame — no more inserting pictures manually into the old school photo frames, but memory card to digital photo frames.

During the old time, we are using films to take photos and as it is not cheap, that made us think twice when taking photos. Unlike now, we can have a few photos of the same scene and choose the best one, delete the rest. This also means that we will have much more photos at cheaper cost. Some keeps them into their mobile phone, and some into their computer. And now, in digital photo frames.

A gadget company namely EDGE Tech Corp ordered a sponsored post here to review their digital photo frames. Since I do not have the chance to hold one for reviewing, I will focus more on the specs stated. EDGE’s digital photo frame is a high resolution one, 640×480 with a 7″ LCD screen. It comes with 4 colors, black, white, silver and walnut. To use it, all you have to do is to insert a memory card into the digital photo frame — it supports up to 7 digital media formats.

Also, it has an MP3 player built in coming a long with a credit card size remote control, which I assume you can use it to control the MP3 player as well as the photo display. Basically it isn’t any ultra-super-powerful digital photo frame, but it is definitely good enough to make people remember you. Imagine this, it is the last year you and your friends will be studying in your high school. One of your friend took a lot of pictures and he loaded them up all into a digital photo frame and give it to you. Aren’t it going to be memorable and sweet?

I personally feel that this is a very good choice for gift, especially when loaded will pictures like what I have mentioned just now. Also good to be used at home or in the office. It is however too pricey in my opinion, it is priced at $119.95. Not to mention that it will even be worse after the shipping fee is added in. There is however free shipping for United States customers, now that’s totally unfair! Upon purchase, you will be entitled one year warranty and toll-free technical support.

If you plan to get one of those, make sure you get an extra memory card, it is not included in the package. EDGE do sell memory cards too if I am not mistaken, you might want to grab one along since shipping will be free if you are from the United States.
