After 13 years of being the world’s richest man, Bill Gates no longer holds the title. The new richest man in the world is now Carlos Slim Helú — a Mexican telecommunications tycoon with net worth of $67.8 billion, winning Bill Gate’s net worth of $59.2 billion.
Bill Gates are known to be rich being the founder of Microsoft Corp. — and for Carlos Slim, he is one of the big player in the telecommunications industry of Mexico, controling Teléfonos de México (Telmex), Telcel and América Móvil companies.
The news is not official yet until the next publication of Forbes’ ranking of the world’s richest people. It is just the matter of time until the list is being updated. Would you really mind if you are Bill Gates? I don’t think I will mind for losing the title. Life will still be good being a billionaire.
