Have you watched Click, the movie about a universal remote control? If you can still recall, there is a scene where Michael gain lots of weight and later put them down. He play with his excess skin by flipping them around like a tongue.
David has a similar case here. He was 630 lbs (285 kg) in year 2003, and he is only 229 lbs (103 kg) this year. No weight loss pills are consumed or surgeries in this period, which is really amazing.

David’s Story
I used to weigh 630 pounds. I have been overweight all my life. I was close to death. I was written off by everyone, even myself. All of a sudden I woke up it seemed from my despair and I realized feeling sorry about my life wasn’t going to solve my problems. I decided to change my existence.I weigh 229 now, I lost 401 pounds but I have excess skin. I wear a Large shirt and I can fit in a 34 waist. WEIGHTLOSS IS DONE! When I first started losing it was hard, I could only walk 500ft. I can now walk for days. I had problems doing everything, but I persevered over every obstacle. People used to laugh in my face, take pictures, and other degrading stuff. Now its another story getting buff, and so on. All within 3 years of starting. Crazy part is that I’m only half done! I want to be around 230 solid cut up when done.
I need surgery to remove excess skin, all my surgeries have been recorded for TV and will probably air next year. I have had 2 surgeries so far. One on Dec 7th and one on Feb 28th. These two surgeries removed 22.5 pounds of skin. The average person has 7 to 8 pounds of skin. My upper body is almost done I just need one more surgery. My lower body needs a inner thigh lift as well.

Weight loss is not impossible, it is all depends on you. If David can reduce 400 pounds, I believe you can do it too.

wow, he did it!!
Ralalala. x.x That much weight loss in 4 years is amazing.
All that excess skin is scary! O.O
Worse than Norbit’s wife and Michael on the next movie….Hilarious pic! But great job! You look more handsome compare to last time….
Would be GREAT if you sorted the pictures chronologically!
I’m amazed that you could lose that much weight but those after pictures almost made me throw up, I feel bad but it was kinda gross
you’re a really handsome guy! you can see it more clearly since the weight loss. congrats!
David may never see this……. but…….Wow – I am so proud of you! I attempt to train my friends who are over weight because I do not want them to suffer. It is a very difficult battle, but worth all my energy. I want them to take better care of themselves. You give me the inspiration to keep up my efforts.

Man, i wish you were one of my friends!! hahaa. i’m a bit over weight and i try and get them to come to the gym with me – theyre all thin, they dont really need it, but its just becasue its easier working out with someone else than alone.
I recently joined a gym, all alone without any friends, The first few days you feel a little funny, but then you start meeting people there, alot of people work out the same time avery day. Plus, if you join with a friend and they are not dedicated, they will really hold you back. You willlmiss if they make excuses not to go because you don't want to go alone. Join yourself and meet new people. Everyone is there for the same reason. I am obese, so I was self concsience, but people really did not judge and started conversations, and it's been great getting out and making new friends.
Thanks for sharing the pics and the videos. Really glad for David, he’s accomplished something not many people would be able to.
David did a great job with himself! congratulations!
BUT HOW did he do it; was it with LCHF diet? (ATkins-type)?
I think that is the only way to permanentlyg loose weight.

damn! this shit’s amazing. he really did it for real. i mean, i couldn’t even imagine anyone accomplishing such a feat until i knew about him, and saw those pics.
good job, david! keep it up
This story is such an inspiration to me! It’s not just a story about weight loss but a story on changing a lifestyle. I’ve done something similar as well,..maybe one day, I’ll be able to inspire people like Davis has!
How somebody could allow themselves to get THAT fat is simply beyond me.
I don’t know if you should applaud the man for losing that much weight, or condemn him for getting that fat in the first place.
i guess if you have never been in that boat, you should not say anything, if a person gets cancer, should you condemn them, i was born heavy, i have been working all my life to lose, its like a roller coaster i am not were i want to be but i am proud of getting were i am. i have had a thiroid issue, since on meds i have lost over 130 lbs, so like cancer being a medical issue, so i obesity

Congrats to David (AZ) on overcoming his personal tragedies in life and keeping the promise to his mom (who passed) that you would loose the weight and live your life. Hats off to you man. And there are too many people from the land of stupid so just ignore them David and keep making good friends and completing your goals.
To Growing Taller Secrets, are you stuck on stupid or what… yes this man’s accomplishments are simply beyond your understanding and comprehending David’s life story that he saved his own life by losing the weight traditionally. Since you lack information about the person you posted about explains this blog is beyond your comprehension. The man’s documentary showed what most people ignore, he didn’t want to condemn himself to a few years of life left and lost weight to save himself and live his life to the fullest. Repeat. But you made it clear that this man’s story left you at stupid. So go back to the school of stupid and study harder in your class of stupid. AZ chic just kicked your arze. Have a nice day.
Wonders if Growing Taller Secrets is related to Al Gore who said he invented the internet. lol
To lose that much weight is great! I am overweight (not like that but a bit), and I can not loose about 20kg and he lost 200kg.
I realy wish you the best live that you diserve, absolutly!!!
Best wishes J.
I recently started my weight loss journey using only eating right and exercizing. I am a 222 pound woman. After only about three weeks I am already having a problem with alot of excess skin hanging, and I still have a hundred pounds to go. I am starting to get worried. Any tips or ideas?
Good Work Man. I went from 227 to 137-142 (varies a bit), and have excess belly skin. It seems to be a problem when one loses significant weight. I wish I had some tips. I have read that people say using skin cream to firm up the skin and other such stuff. I don't know if that would work or not. I mean, the skin is "Damaged and with Stretch Marks". So, I am not sure how much one can do. Luckily, I don't have HANGING skin that bad (picture), but I do got probably a few inches of extra skin in the abdominal area. Think of it as a badge of honor, so long as it doesn't bother. Better to be healthy than overweight.
I want to say that it is truly amazing losing so much weight over the past 7years.. I would like to know how you did this. Was it with weight loss surgery, or a good diet? Also you showed lots of pictures with the hanging skin.. and you had to get many surgeries to get it removed. Did you have to pay for the surgeries? and also have you been able to tone up the rest of the loose skin or did you have to have more excess skin removal surgeries?
I don't think I've ever seen so much determination for someone who committed to losing weight. Props!
