Why We Like Father

I have not been celebrating Father’s Day for quite a long time as my father has already passed away. But though, I can’t recall any celebration of it even when he’s around – maybe I’m too young that time. Let’s dig some information for Father’s Day, and the best source is of course, Wikipedia (the website that claims to have run out of fund but is still standing today).

Like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day falls on different date depending on the location. Most countries, including the United States, celebrates Father’s Day on the third Sunday of June. I always thought there’s an exact date for these kind of occasions and only knew I was wrong until today. If you’ve never celebrate Father’s Day before, it’s still not too late to do it now. There is no need to get him expensive gadgets or something, just text him a plain “I Love You” will do.

But of course, it will be greater to get him some stuff. I believe most men like leather gifts, even my father last time holds a leather bag with his leather shoe and wallet. Other than that, gadgets are another great gift for fathers. You may want to share funds among your siblings or family members to get him a brand new PDA phone. It’s odd to have flowers for father’s day in my opinion, expensive yet not useful – man prefer useful stuff I guess.

There is only one Father’s Day a year, grab the chance to show your love no matter how busy you are. I believe sending him a text wouldn’t cost you much time and he will definitely be happy. Wishing all fathers a Happy Father’s Day :)

So you don’t celebrate Father’s day? How about some worship as chinese man? :)

I think it’s really hard for me to send some text message with, “I love You”. I think it’s weird, hard, funny. suddenly….I think I don’t even speak that words, as long as I remember until now. I don’t know why it’s so weird for me…Looking others people do is as simple as speaking. But for me, I don’t have the guts…Not that I don’t love my father, but maybe I’m not train to do that, so it’s really weird for me.

Normally, If I have the mood, I will buy some stuff, but my father always said don’t waste that kind of money because he is very fussy, I think he don’t like the present I bought for him. You may wondering I’m still small and buying the useless thing. I bought him a pen but I don’t ever watch him touch that pen and, not this pen only, my brothers too ever bought a pen for him. He also never use it and keep in the cupboards. And I in my opinion, more people celebrate Mother’s Day than Father’s Day because when Mother’s Day, father will treat mummy and when Father’s Day nobody will treat father. (If the kids still small)Do you agree? x.x

Just text it and send to him. Forget about the weird thing. Or you can save the “I love you” first, and just press send on the day.

I dun think buying things for father at Father’s day is necessaryu.Althought i will treat him for a dinner but i think the most important is on yourself
It is still not enough for you to repay your debts to your father within one day.Wat i think the most important is your behaviour and your result(if you are studying). That is wat i think the most important for him.So make your father proud of you. That is the best you can do.

Glazer, that’s your point of view as students. (Almost same like Mdm. Yusmilla idealogi! LOL) What to do if you’re a student but not that clever or working? ^.^ My mother will normally advise us just show some respect and you will practise till you old. If you don’t lead your children and don’t practise since small, then when you are big enough you will not do that and think that’s weird! (like me :) ) All things start from small.

Vincent, I still think that’s really hard enough for me! I imagine my father receive that, then my father will laugh at me…I think I will just pretend as normal. x.x Maybe some surprise to him on his birthday. :)

I have been celebrating Fathers Day every year.
It gives me an excuse spend quality time with my Father out of this busy scheduled life.
I buy him a gift every year and this year I am gifting him a leather luggage from Maxwell Scott , they have some good leather products and also offer a 2 yr. guarantee.
