About 2 weeks back, many Malaysian PayPal users are having problem accepting payments to their account after PayPal upgraded their website. We are forced to add an US bank account before being able to accept any payment. Many of us contacted PayPal and the replies are “it’s a glitch due to the website upgrade, and they’ll fix it”. But after a week and so, the problem still persist.
Upon suggestion from other users, I attempt to register for a VMI card, a virtual US bank account that will also allow withdrawing from PayPal. And just a few minutes ago, a staff from VMI contacted me with the information needed, and at the same time I was browsing other blogs and saw a user comment saying that PayPal’s glitch is fixed.
That comment really saved me, if it’s not because of it, $33 will be wasted to get the VMI card. PayPal is working fine now as before and we will be able to accept payments now. Just got my pending $10 cleared

I had a client in Malaysian who was having issues with Paypal not serving the CSS to their pages. There’d be no styling at all to any Paypal.com pages - all default blue links etc. I think they’re having some issues =)

I didn’t register for the card. But I think age doesn’t matter at all. It says “everyone can register”. I recommend finding a PayPal fund buyer instead of using the card. There’s a monthly fee as well as fee for each transaction.
