This post is a sponsored post, and is only useful to webmasters. I know how hard it is to gain traffic (visitors, generally) to a new website as this blog is once new too. I’ve also tried many ways to drive traffic to this blog when it’s first launched last year, like using traffic exchanging programs which result in having a warning email by the AdSense team. Although seeing an increase in traffic is thrilling, especially when you’re a new webmaster, you will soon fed up with those traffic exchange programs. It doesn’t last long and will be a problem if you serve ads on your website, especially Google AdSense.
Then after a few months the blog has launched, I posted a few hot news and eventually get some traffic sent by Google. Of course it made me happy. But things get back to normal when the news isn’t hot anymore and there’s much lesser people searching for it. By then I know how great it is to have top Google rankings. I’ve then study a little about SEO and applied some of my knowledge of it on this blog.
If you know nothing about search engine optimization (SEO) and wanted to try it out, and have some money of course, there is a lot of search marketing firm outside that offer SEO service. They will consult you in how to improve your website ranking on search engines, and even give advices on how to play with online advertising. A company by the name Apoogee Search is one of those search marketing firm that you can rely on. It’s one of the 25 largest Search Engine Marketing firms in the world and founded by early internet pioneers. You can even read their blog for free for some industry news and tips. Good luck in marketing your websites.
Disclaimer: The above story about how I market this blog in the early stage is TRUE, unlike other blogs who make up stories to write their sponsored post.

Traffic exchanges work if you know how to use them.. And you can easily make the adsense not display when viewed inside an exchange ;-)

While I don’t like internet marketers who make up their stories to sell product that teaches us how to get a huge traffic. Sometimes, the methods which are being taught are against Google Policy (black hat, page generating), simply unethical. When they got us on the list, 99% percent chance that they will promote at least a product to us and it’s annoying.
So, for me the best way to optimize our site for SEO is by conducting experiments of our own by learning from the tutorials in the internet. It will take time but in the long run, I believe that it will improve our skill as a webmaster!
