$0. Yes, I made nothing from PayPerPost, the popular advertising network where most bloggers try to dig money from using their blogs – in another word, making money online. I signed up for an account at PayPerPost back last year as a blogger, did only one sponsored post – but unpaid. One, because it didn’t meet the advertiser’s requirements – and even if it meets all the requirements, I doubt I will have the money sent to my PayPal account.
Once, I joined another similar advertising network that’s much smaller, did a sponsored post – and paid $10 for that. The 10 bucks was sent to my PayPal account, but I just can’t received it because my PayPal account isn’t verified. And just a little while back, I was too boring and went to PayPal’s site to look around. I clicked on the “Unverified” link, and I’m brought to a page to verify my account.
It needs the 4 digit thing to verify my account, that’s appeared on the credit card statement. As the credit card isn’t mine, I have limited access to the statement. All of sudden, I turn my chair around and took a folder which my mother keep all her stuff there like bills and sorts – I look for the credit card statement. Lucky me, I found the 4 digit and entered it to verify the PayPal account. And it’s verified now.
After verifying, the only thing in my mind is PayPerPost. I wish to earn some coffee from it since last year, but didn’t have the chance to do so. So I went to PayPerPost (loading for ages, my connection problem?), login, and look at the opportunities board. When I click on the titles of the opportunities, there’s just description but I found no way to have access to take it. I’m not sure how it works, and decided to sort the list to be only “Qualified Opportunities”.
And while browsing, I saw an opportunity titled “How Much Have you Made from PPP“. That’s the most suitable one for me to take, among all others unrelated ones. It should be fun for the advertiser (PPP itself I assume) to see that I made $0 from PPP. The opportunity also stated that I need to tell what I gonna do with those money earned.
In Malaysia, we can’t withdraw money from PayPal directly. We need an U.S bank account to withdraw money to, as local banks in Malaysia won’t work. There’re still ways to withdraw money to local banks, but it will be troublesome. Since PPP only pays via PayPal, and I won’t be able to have the cash in my hand, but only to use it online – I guess I will use it to pay my hosting bills.

Oh!
I have earned 15$ so far from PayPerPost.
Nobody minds paid posts my friend but only that it should be friendly like your other good posts … thats all my demand!
I’ve also made a whopping $0 on PayPerPost. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to find any opportunities that fit my guitar related blog. I’ll keep looking but I’m guessing my niche will prevent me from finding very many opportunities with PPP.
I guess the PPP opportunities are getting more and more competitive. I’ve heard and seen on the forum there that newly posted opps are being grabbed within 32mins from posting!
@Rishi: I’m not sure, but I tends to ignore sponsored post. Except those that’re good, like those from John Chow – he can make his sponsored post interesting. No matter how good I can write, if the sponsored post is off topic, readers will be annoyed.
@Robert: I found an opportunity about music on PPP. You may want to check it out here.
@lyndonmaxewell: I think they do limit how many people can take the opportunity. More than one I guess.
Now that is what you have to do Vincent. You have to the posts [ sponsored ] interactive!
yeah, i admire how john chow write his paid post and it’s true that the competition in ppp is getting fiercer day by day. some of my post isn’t approved because I plugged adsense into it. too bad.. :yell:
looks like your rich eh? =\
How much have you made from PPP now? Just curious.
Around $50 now, but I’ve stop using them recently as my PayPal account is having problem accepting payment. It forces me to add a US bank account before I can accept it.
