What about this? You go to a cafe, get whatever the guy before you ordered and paid, and then in turn you order something and pay for the guy behind you. 7 months ago, I decided to move out from DreamHost, not because DreamHost is not doing good, they do have downtime every now and then but that is not the reason. I was instead being impressed by WPWebHost, after reading several reviews from popular design blogs. WPWebHost claims to be a WordPress centric host (thus their name), which makes sense to me since all my blogs are powered by WordPress.

What finally made me push the “Order” button is when I found a 40% discount code for their $5 hosting plan, which provides 50GB of diskspace and 500GB bandwidth, way more than what all my blogs combined will ever need. $3/month, that’s almost 60% savings compare to DreamHost.

At 136kg, Mia Landingham sat on her 54kg boyfriend, Mikal Middlestone-Bey, to death after a heated argument. Who would have ever thought someone would leave the world by being sat on by his girlfriend, the one he had 3 children with, and more than twice his weight? Sucks to be him.

Landingham was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours community service. She was immediately released from jail.

Police said the couple, who share three children together, were arguing last August when Landingham sat on Middleston-Bey. Middleston-Bey died of asphyxiation. The pair had a long history of domestic abuse, according to Landingham’s lawyer.

Landingham said she was sorry for squashing her boyfriend. “I just want to say that I am sincerely sorry about this situation… I wish I could take it back.” Middleston-Bey’s family were angered by the sentence.

“So basically you can say that I can go sit on somebody and get probation?” a family member said. “I feel there wasn’t no justice.” (via)

David Martin captured the entire lifting process of the ditched US Airways Flight 1549 from the icy Hudson river, all from his apartment and created an under 5 minutes time-lapse video. Looks more like a toy plane from that perspective.

Too bad, it can no longer fly and is now up for auction. Wings and engines are not included though.
